John Lasseter

Here’s an old post, in fact from a trip on the 18th July. Although there’s no autograph to report, I think it’s pretty cool.

Headed to the Apple Store on Regents Street in the pouring rain for a talk by the rather amazing John Lasseter. John has worked on some of the greatest films ever as the head of Pixar. From Toy Story to Cars, Finding Nemo to the Incredibles, Ratatouille to Wall E, he’s had a part.

His talk was fascinating, learnt a lot about how Pixar works and the upcoming projects. Afterwards I went to the guests exit of the store to see if I could get some DVDs signed, but left after a couple of minutes as it was, literally, pouring with rain.

Here’s a pic of John at the talk.
