The Adventures Of Tintin Premiere

Well, this was a rather hectic, but special day. This was the first part of my day last Sunday, followed by Madonna‘s premiere at the other side of Leicester Square (see the post below this one).

So, The Adventures of Tintin premiere promised to be a good event, with some of my favourite people in the cast (notably my joint favourite actor Simon Pegg and the rather good Daniel Craig), as well as Nick Frost, Andy Serkis and Jamie Bell. I didn’t know who would be coming from the film when I left, I had been told it was just Jamie, but in fact nearly all the cast came.

First to arrive was James Bond himself, Daniel Craig. Daniel was great, and signed for I think the entire barrier. He kindly signed my Special Edition Quantum of Solace boxset and my Casino Royale 2 disc set, both with a decent signature, rather than his usual DC.

He also agreed to pose for a photo with me, before taking my camera from me and taking it himself! Awesome!! Really pleased as it’s come out great, kudos to Daniel for being so awesome!

I next met writer of the film, Stephen Moffatt. Stephen is known for writing Dr Who and Sherlock, two programmes I like, so I was very happy to meet him again. He kindly signed an index card and posed for a photo with me, which can be seen by clicking here. Next I met the fantastic Nick Frost. Nick, who looks rather different to usual, kindly signed my Shaun of the Dead DVD sleeve and my autograph book, and posed for a photo with me. Very happy, as I’ve never got a photo with Nick before!

I next met broadcaster Dermot Monaghan, who I really like as the presenter of Eggheads. He signed an index card for me, and posed for a photo with me, which can be seen here. He was quickly followed by director Edgar Wright, who has directed films including Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. He kindly signed my Shaun of the Dead DVD sleeve and posed for a photo with me. Notice how the DVD sleeve is going, will it be completed by Simon Pegg?

I next met chef Aldo Zilli, who signed an index card for me, followed by comedian Joe Cornish, who signed an index card and posed for a photo with me (see it here). He was followed by Outnumbered star Daniel Roache, who signed a card for me. Next came Eastenders’ Danielle Harold, who kindly posed for a photo with me (I have got her autograph before).

Next, was my joint favourite actor, the awesome Simon Pegg. Now, I love Simon, everything from Shaun of the Dead to Hot Fuzz to Run Fatboy Run. Simon kindly signed my Shaun of the Dead sleeve (yay, signed by him, Nick and Edgar!), my autograph book, and posed for a photo with me!

I next met producer Kathleen Kennedy, who has worked on everything from Tintin to Back to the Future to Jurassic Park. She kindly signed an index card for me. I also got an index card signed by presenter, and interviewer at the premiere, Alex Zane. Finally I met Billy Elliot actor Jamie Bell, who signed my autograph book and posed for a photo with me!

VERY happy! Hope you’ve enjoyed this also 🙂
